The only things we had to pack were our clothes and food. RV even had games for the kids to play while on the road which was nice since it did rain for a few days. Service was great too and friendly staff. Dave was very helpful teaching us how to use the rig and was always available if a question came up while we were on the trip. This was lots of fun.
At first I was very nervous about renting an RV. We had never taken a vacation like this before and frankly we didn’t know what to expect. Neither my husband nor I had ever driven such a big vehicle before and we certainly had no idea how to operate all the onboard features, but by the time Von spent 3 hours going over every system on the bus and how to use it I felt completely at ease. When we had questions he stopped and explained it again with patience and even gave us a pad and paper to take little notes. By the time we left the lot we were both very confident enough to drive that rig with no problems. Even backed it into the campsite with ease. During the first night we did forget how to hook up the water at the campground and called Von. Just past 11PM he answered and walked us thru right it. After a few days, we had it down pat and didn't have to bother him the entire trip. We had the most amazing trip. I’m hooked and so is my family, we can’t wait until next year’s trip when we rent a twin axle and go fishing in the Keys. Thanks for helping to make this a great vacation. The proposal went great (she said yes!) and the hot air balloon ride was unforgettable and the Newell was an amazing and comfortable motorhome and fancier than my first apartment.
